There are two pathways available to access the Payment Gateway;
  • The Web Portal serves as a self-service online platform that enables clients to efficiently manage their payment operations.
  • The Payment API presents a means to integrate a client's systems with the payment gateway, facilitating automated and smooth payment processes. It is constructed on the REST Framework, ensuring seamless communication and interaction between systems.
How to gain access to the Web Portal?

To access the web portal, you will need a computer connected to the internet. You can conveniently access your account from anywhere in the world and even use multiple devices simultaneously.No software installations are required, the portal is accessed by navigating to a web browser and enter the URL www.itecpay.rw in the address bar. This will direct you to the web portal, where you can easily manage your account and perform various payment-related tasks.

Send Message

With our service, you can effortlessly send SMS to multiple mobile phones with just one click. Each SMS is typically limited to 160 characters, but our platform allows you to send longer messages by automatically splitting them into multiple parts, which will then be seamlessly recombined into a single message on the recipient's mobile phone.

Enjoy the convenience of sending longer messages while maintaining a smooth and seamless experience for your recipients.


Customised Sender

With our service, you can send SMS messages that appear to come from a customized sender ID or name, such as "ITECPAY," at no additional cost. The sender ID is limited to 11 characters*, allowing you to personalize the sender information and reinforce your brand identity.

Business Accounts offer the flexibility to create and customize their own sender IDs. However, for security reasons, this feature is not available for ordinary accounts. If you require a specific sender ID to be added to your account, our dedicated team is ready to assist you.


Delivery Reports

With each SMS you send, you will receive delivery status notifications to keep you informed about the delivery outcome.

  • Delivered:The SMS has been successfully delivered to the recipient's mobile device.
  • Pending:The SMS is in the process of being delivered and awaiting confirmation.
  • Failed: The SMS delivery has failed due to various reasons, such as an invalid or unreachable number.
  • Expired:The SMS delivery could not be completed within the specified timeframe and has expired.
  • Undelivered:The SMS could not be delivered for reasons such as network issues or recipient's device being turned off.

By receiving these delivery status notifications, you can track the progress of your SMS messages and take necessary actions based on the outcome.


Receive Messages

Our platform allows you to receive SMS messages from recipients directly into your inbox. This convenient feature is enabled by assigning a unique keyword to your account. When mobile subscribers want to send you a message, they simply type the assigned keyword followed by their message on their phone.

We offer this feature to our users free of charge; however, it's important to note that standard telecom rates apply to the person sending the message.


Schedule Messages

You have the convenience of scheduling SMS messages to be sent from your account at a specific time and date. This feature allows you to plan your communications effectively by utilizing the Schedule Messages tab and the integrated calendar.

To schedule a message, simply select the desired date on the calendar and set the precise time for the message to be sent. You can also specify the frequency at which the message will be sent, such as a one-time occurrence or recurring intervals. Craft your message, add the recipients, and save the scheduled message.

The scheduled message will be displayed on your calendar as an activity, providing a clear overview of your planned communications.

Even if you are not logged into your account at the designated time, the scheduled message will be sent automatically, ensuring timely delivery to your recipients.


Send Customised Messages

With our platform, you have the capability to send personalized and customized SMS messages to a large number of recipients. Each message can be tailored to the individual recipient, creating a personalized communication experience.

This feature goes beyond sending generic messages and allows you to address each recipient by name or include specific details relevant to them. For example:

Generic message: Hy xxxxx, your monthly invoice is ready.

Customized message: Hy Martin, your monthly invoice number 22211 for Internet service is ready.

By utilizing this functionality, you can efficiently send out a high volume of customized messages without the need to manually type out each individual message.



Contact and
Group Management

Save, Edit, Delete Contacts

Your account is equipped with a robust contacts management system that empowers you to efficiently handle your contact list. This feature proves invaluable when sending messages, eliminating the need to manually enter numbers. By accessing your address book, you can effortlessly create, modify, and remove contacts as necessary.

This feature allows you to store multiple phone numbers and an email address within a single contact entry. This ensures that you have all the necessary contact details conveniently organized in one place.


Upload Contacts from Excel

You have the option to import contacts from an Excel file and save them in your account. This feature not only streamlines the process of adding contacts but also enables you to send SMS messages directly from the imported Excel sheet.


Manage Contacts into Groups

You have the flexibility to create groups for your contacts based on specific criteria. This allows you to categorize contacts into various groups such as 'Teachers', 'Supervisors', and more. Additionally, a contact can be assigned to multiple groups simultaneously, providing you with versatile contact management capabilities.

You can streamline your communication by sending messages to specific contact groups. This eliminates the need to search for individual contacts every time you want to reach out to a particular group. With this feature, you can efficiently send messages to targeted groups of people with ease.



Reporting and Analytics

Generate Reports with Custom Filters

You have access to detailed usage statistics through the Reports feature. By utilizing the filtering options available at the top of each page, such as search and selecting date ranges, you can easily retrieve the specific information you need. This allows you to analyze and track your usage data effectively.


Export Reports to EXCEL and PDF.

You have the flexibility to view your reports directly in your browser or export them in either Excel or PDF format. This allows you to choose the preferred format for your reports, making it convenient for analysis and sharing with others.



Payments.

Mobile Money Enabled Payments

We have streamlined the SMS purchasing process by implementing Mobile Money payments. This automated feature allows you to conveniently purchase SMS credits using your Mobile Money account.

Once you have selected the desired number of credits for purchase, a payment confirmation request will be sent to your account, prompting you to approve the transaction.


Payment Receipts

Upon approval, the SMS credits you have purchased will be seamlessly loaded into your account, ensuring immediate availability for your messaging needs. Additionally, for your reference and record-keeping purposes, a confirmation email will be sent to you, containing a comprehensive payment receipt that outlines the specific details of the transaction.
